Who we are
Ball Vineyards is a small family winery in Interlaken, New York. This policy explains what information we collect through ballvineyards.com and what we do with it. You can reach us at info@ballvineyards.com.
What we collect
- Messages you send us. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and message.
- Orders. If you buy wine from us online, your order is handled by our ecommerce partner, which collects your name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number and date of birth. We do not store your full card details.
- Site usage. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived.
- Age confirmation. When you confirm you are 21 or older, that confirmation is saved in your browser so we don’t have to ask again. It is not sent to us.
How we use it
To answer your messages, to fulfill and ship orders, to confirm you are of legal drinking age, to meet the legal and tax requirements that apply to selling wine, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the site and fulfill orders: our ecommerce and shipping partner, our payment processor, and Google Analytics. We may share information with government agencies where alcohol laws require it. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar browser storage for basic site features, the age confirmation, and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing info@ballvineyards.com. We may need to keep some order records where the law requires it.
Children
This site is intended only for people 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
